multiplyed...
my multiply account is stagnating. well, i started losing interest when they took out the option to download music, and not many of my friends have accounts there, anyway.
but anywayz highwayz, i finally - finally! - reconfigured the theme i'm currently using to adapt to the pesky marketplace ad on top of the page. it was bothering me for more than a year now, and i didn't want to find the time to do any css customizing, until now.
and 'sides, i don't think i was supposed to make any changes to the theme since it isn't mine... it was just a couple numbers, really, not anything world-shaking... heh.

hard reset blues...
i performed a hard reset on my treo680 yesterday afternoon... T_T
i didn't wanna do it, but i had a recent issue with the treo freezing whenever i try to access applications stored in the card using LaunchAnywhere. (repeat that 10x.. heh)
reinstalling all my data was easy, but lemme tell ya, reconfiguring all my prefs and inputting all the regcodes are a royal pain in the derriere. grrrrh... o_0
just saying.

blue stahli
hah! blue is my theme these days.
i just found this really kewl artist, blue stahli, on youtube indirectly. a fan posted his music there. i'm not sure how to categorize his music... it's like electronica/metal/trance. sorta like hardcore linkin park. wiki sez it's electronic rock. so there.
whatever, it's a combination of genres that i like. it makes me feel like watching a cool action/sci-fi movie; i can envision fight moves just listening to these kinda music.

lost and found... and lost.
i finally tracked down GC, somebody i knew from way back when, on facebook. somebody i knew from my kid years, who was, i suppose, one of the people instrumental to me finding out several different aspects about me, myself and i.
but people really do grow up and change, don't they. the GC now is so different from the GC i knew before. i'm glad though, that the changing done was for the good, where i had thought otherwise.
on this note, i already did find YP (on facebook, where else?) some time ago, the first person who made me think... about me.
some of my ‘instrumental people’ had been gone from my life, literally and figuratively, over the years...
the ‘lost again’ part... well... so now that i've found them, i'm once again letting them go their own directions, without me in it. and hoping that maybe, sometimes, they'll remember happy thoughts of me.

requiem for my tsinelas...
tsinelas. or in classy-speak (pa-social): flip-flops. but really, it's just the plain ol' rubber slippers.
i'm mourning my birkenstock slippers (of course it's not really THE birkenstock, but the brand name WAS birkenstock, though it looked like one of the islander sandals line). i had these slippers since april/may 2002, so that makes it 8 years old! i usually wore them at home, or the occasional beach forays. they've been everywhere i'd been: cdo, cebu, bantayan, bohol, etc. i had an islander slipper before that, and it only lasted a couple of years. tsk. anywayz, i wore them until the strap was literally hanging by a thread (or mebbe several fine threads), and then finally broke.
i need to replace them and fast. i originally thought of buying a new islander slipper, but then i remember i had several slippers that are barely being used. and now the dilemma. should i use the crocs , or one of the havaianas?? woooh!
since these are expensive slippers (averaging 800-900 php or around 18-20 usd), i only use them when going out to the mall, with friends, or such. heck, they're too expensive to wear to the beach. yeah, they really defeat the purpose of primarily being beach flip-flops.

wicked!
i'm so late! i am sooo late!! how come i've never heard these songs before??? jeez! these were released circa 2003!!!... i did hear about wicked, but still.... oh yeah, i remember. i was working for Big-R as a department head, and i mean seriously working. i remember being in the store for more than 9 hours a day, 6 days a week; and going home to eat and then sleep. and repeat the whole process the next day, again. i had no life! plus, i'm in the philippines, people! broadway musicals are so far out of reach!
(♫ i'm limited, just look at me, i'm limited... ♪) well, better late than never, as useless... story of my life.
anywayz, i'm talking about Defying Gravity & For Good, songs from the Broadway Musical, Wicked. words cannot express how i feel about these songs, so i better stop here and just put in some youtube vid links for a more effective visual and aural experience.
note: video taken from a pro-shot of the musical.
note: from Kristin's last performance; video definitely not a pro-shot.

spinning around under blue skies...
boy have i a found a new song for zoning-out... not technically new, it's circa 2008, from an indie (doncha just lurve those indies?) pop band The Hush Now. i'm so loving this song, i'm checking out their other stuff now.

note: video not officially from the band, but made for their video contest.

what's new!
so, obviously i did some renovations on the blog. changed the template, fonts, etc.; added some what-nots; did some tweaking here and there... and shazam! here it is.
from the previous green nature theme to this classic black look.
it's not easy being green, after all.
(but i did incorporate some blue_green here and there to appease the nature gods.)

grrrrh0wwl...
i have a lot of stuff going on in my head i'd love to blog about, but when it comes to the actual time to write it down, how come it disappears like smoke?? it's sort of like dreaming, everything's so vivid but when you wake up, the scenes just fade away...
so frustrating!
mebbe i should revert back to the ol' paper-and-pen method, and actually write down stuff before posting them online... like, keeping a notebook handy so i can jot down my thoughts. but i feel really DORKY thinking 'bout that...
but i oughta look into that idea. mehh.

yay!
breakin' you out through your bedroom window
sneakin' you into my parents' house
stayin' out all night into the morning, into the morning
breakin' you out through your bedroom window
sneakin' you into my parents' house
stayin' out all night into the morning until the sun comes up and ruins it all
after days & days of trolling the net, i finally found a decent copy of The Weekend's "Into The Morning" a couple days ago... and to top it all off, the whole DEBS soundtrack!
talk about time & effort spent that is well-rewarded... yay!
